Charles A. Lowenhaupt
Chairman, President and
Chief Executive Officer
Charles A. Lowenhaupt is founder of Lowenhaupt Global Advisors
and a recognized industry leader in managing wealth for
ultra-high net worth families around the world. He is also
Managing Member of Lowenhaupt Global Advisor’s affiliated firm,
Lowenhaupt & Chasnoff, LLC, the first U.S. law firm to
concentrate in tax law and established by Lowenhaupt’s
grandfather in 1908. Lowenhaupt was a Founding Advisory Faculty
member of the Institute for Private Investors and is now an
Emeritus Member of the Advisory Faculty. For many years, he
serves as a Director of the Foundation for Fiduciary Studies. He
is also a co-founder and director of the Institute for Wealth
Management Standards. Lowenhaupt is a Director of the Clements
Library of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University. He also has a
Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School and
is a member of the Order of the Coif. He is a member of the Bar
of New York and Missouri.
