Pamela K. Lent

Senior Investment Advisor

Pamela Lent has been an investment counselor for over 25 years.  Prior to joining Lowenhaupt Global Advisors in 2006, she was a managing director of Atlantic Trust/Stein Roe, the private wealth management subsidiary of Amvescap and a member of the Atlantic Trust Advisory Council, the Ethics Committee and the Core Growth Team, which oversees the large cap growth model portfolio for Atlantic Trust.

At Atlantic Trust, Pamela advised a large, diverse group of clients, many of whom she has counseled since 1983 when she joined Stein Roe and Farnham. At the time of the acquisition of Stein Roe by Atlantic Trust in 2004, Pamela had developed and was managing the largest book of business in the partnership.  She was a member of Stein Roe's Executive Advisory Group. During her tenure on this committee, the group undertook a management buy-out of the firm from its then owner, Liberty Mutual, and subsequently advised on the sale of Stein Roe to Atlantic Trust.  Pamela was a founding member of Stein Roe's Core Equity Team, which oversaw the firm's equity model portfolio from 1994 through 2005.

Pamela has her M.B.A. from New York University, a B.A. from Colorado College and has earned both a CFA and CIC designation.  She is the mother of two teen aged sons and has served on the Board of Trustees for their school, Westminster School, where she co-chaired the Parents Committee.  She serves on the investment committee of Christ Church in Pelham, NY and is a Trustee Emeritus of the Pelham Art Center.
