Heidi draws on more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management field. Most recently she served as head of Neuberger Berman's Private Asset Management business where she served on the firm's six-person Executive Management Committee, National Trust Company, and on its Foundation. Prior to this, she was senior vice president in charge of special products at Herzfeld & Stern, a regional investment banking and brokerage firm. Her earlier positions include Director of Marketing, at Fidelity Management Group and interim President of Worth magazine.

The author of numerous articles on financial decision-making and investments, Heidi also edited Wealthy & Wise: Secrets about Money which was selected by Barron's as one of the best investment books for 2002. She is a frequent speaker on topics ranging from estate planning to asset allocation and mutual funds, and has spoken before the Institute for Private Investors, the Family Wealth Alliance, and Fortune's Most Powerful Women in Business—among many others. Her television appearances include CNBC, PBS, and CNNfn.

A past member of the advisory board of the Business Incubation Group in New York and the board of directors of Aquatherm Industries, Heidi is actively involved in non-profit organizations. She serves on the boards of the Christopher Reeve Foundation, the Financial Women's Association (Past President), the Chairman's Council of the Whitney Museum, and several committees for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A former member of the board of the Miami Museum of Contemporary Art, Heidi also serves on the corporate boards of AmerUs and Siva.

Heidi graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English/Communications from Boston College and was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She holds an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University. She received her certification as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from American College.
