Darla joined Lowenhaupt Global Advisors in 2006, bringing over 20 years of trust account management experience to the firm. Her background includes trust operations, administration and compliance.

Formerly Senior Securities Operations Manager for Bank of America Capital Management, Darla managed a team of 10 which liaised between investment managers and custodians focused on reconciliation issues. In her role as proxy analyst at Bank of America Private Bank, Darla worked with a team to develop and implement new procedures pertaining to proxy voting and reporting in accordance with new government regulations.

Darla began her career in 1982 as a fund accountant with Centerre Trust Company which was subsequently merged with Boatmen's Trust Company. At Boatmen's, she was responsible for the cash management function in Fund Accounting Operations. Boatmen's merged with NationsBank, where Darla was Assistant Vice President and Compliance Analyst.

Darla earned her Associates Degree from Belleville Area College, Belleville, IL.
